Professional diagnostics

If any indicator light fails to illuminate, this indicates a defective cable.

• Stop light – red
• Left indicator light – yellow
• Rear fog light or 12V – blue
• Left tail light – black
• Ground – white
• Right indicator light – green
• Right rear light – colour brown

HOW TO PERFORM A SOCKET TEST

1. connect the tester to the vehicle socket – lights on red
2. when a light is switched on (e.g. stop light) the indicator light is green
3. when the light on indicator lamp is red, the installation is faulty

HOW TO TEST A TRAILER

1. connect the plug to the tester
2. press the yellow button on the tester
3. a green signal light indicates a good installation
4. red light means faulty installation or burnt out bulb
