Compact brake fluid tester. It allows you to instantly measure the water content in the brake fluid, regardless of the car model you have. It is enough to immerse the tester electrodes in the brake fluid tank and read the indication of the control diodes. The device is able to test many types of brake fluids (DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5, DOT 5.1).

First run:

To test the quality of the liquid, turn on the device with the button on the top – like in a pen. Then remove the lower cover and place the tip of the tester (two pins) in the brake fluid reservoir.

Reading Device Indications:

• A Green LED: The brake fluid does not contain water.
• B Yellow LED: less than 1% water in the system.
• B Two yellow LEDs: 2% water in the system – Content within normal limits.
• C Red LED: 3% water in the system – Fluid replacement recommended. Up to half the effective braking system!
• C Two red LEDs: more than 4% water in the system – BRAKE FLUID MUST BE CHANGED ASAP!

MAINTENANCE:

• Replace the battery if the green LED does not light up after pressing the button on top of the “switch”.
• Flashing red LEDs – replace the battery.
• Required battery to run the tester 1pc. type AAA (not included).
• Clean the measuring pins under running water after each use.
