Privacy protection and use of collected data (briefly)

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), MK LED values ​​and protects customer privacy. In the process of realizing the requested service and for providing notifications and information related to the purchase or other service, MK LED will use only the information that is mandatory and that the customer voluntarily provides. During the process of completing a web order on the MK LED Web Shop, the customer will be asked for the following information: name, surname, address, postal code, city, email address and contact number. During registration, which is optional for all actions on the site, the customer’s name and email address are requested. When filling out the inquiry form within the site itself, the customer is asked for their name and email address so that the customer can receive a response to their inquiry. If the customer requests a product shipping service the specified data will be used to process the shipping order for the customer, and will be forwarded to the distribution service. If the customer pays for the products via the CorvusPay card payment system, the MK LED web system will automatically forward the specified data to CorvusPay, so that the purchase can be completed successfully implemented. We undertake not to sell, disclose or give this information to a third party in a manner not specified in this statement. At any time, the customer may request the deletion of personal data related to orders in writing to info@mk-led.hr.

Privacy Protection and Use of Collected Data (in detail)

Data Controller:

EUROKONT d.o.o., Hercegovačka ulica 75a, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia, OIB: 60102436274, is the controller of your personal data data on the MK LED website. The Privacy Policy applies to all personal data of users that we collect and process, directly or through our partners. Personal data is any data relating to a natural person whose identity is determined or can be determined, directly or indirectly. Data processing is any operation performed on personal data, such as collection, storage, use, disclosure by disclosure to, and transfer of personal data. This Policy does not apply to anonymous data. Anonymous data is data that cannot be linked to a specific natural person.

What data we collect:

Personal data: name, surname, address, contact number, email address, OIB (for legal entities only)

Purpose of data collection:

Product sales and installation – to process your sales and product installation in vehicles

EUROKONT d.o.o., will collect personal data, sales information, as well as customer history information when you purchase a product, including claims based on warranty and verification, and will use it to provide the services you requested and notification of issues related to your product and fulfillment of the concluded contract.

The provision of personal data for the purpose of fulfilling the concluded contract is a contractual obligation, and if you do not provide it, this may affect the correct execution of the contract or even make it impossible.

Customer support and marketing – for answers to inquiries and providing news and offers

EUROKONT d.o.o. collects personal data and may use it to provide support to customers, respond to inquiries and complaints, and to assess which news and offers are most likely to interest you, and to contact you in this regard offers according to your interests.

Transfer to third parties:

Personal data may be transferred to third parties, provided that there is a legal basis for the transfer.

Your personal data may be transferred to the following entities:

1.) For the implementation of the contract for the delivery of goods, we will share data with distribution service providers with whom we cooperate and have concluded contracts. The distribution service provider may ask the user for a personal document for inspection when delivering goods or services and/or record certain data from the document. If the user is not willing to submit such data necessary for the delivery of the package, i.e. proof of the ordering party, the service or goods cannot be performed or delivered.
2.) To authorized service providers when advertising products within the warranty or at the request of the user due to a defect or inability to use the product for some reason important to the user.
3.) To state institutions that request data for inspection due to some third-party processing of the same or the need to exercise the rights of Eurokont d.o.o. due to non-compliance with the service agreement.
4.) Automatically when paying by card on the MK LED web shop of the company Corvus Info d.o.o. which maintains the CorvusPay card payment system via websites.
5.) MK LED Obrtu za trgovinje i usluge, Nad Lipom 12b, 10000 Zagreb. for certain web orders that involve shipping via courier services

How long do we keep your data:

We store and process personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill a specific legitimate purpose, unless applicable regulations provide for a longer retention period for a particular purpose, and at least for the duration of the contract between the user and EUROKONT d.o.o.

In the case of consent for marketing (newsletter), we store the data until the consent is withdrawn.

Personal data that is no longer needed is either irreversibly anonymized or destroyed in a secure manner.

Web shop:

Access and shopping on the mk-led.hr web shop is possible with or without registration.

During the process of completing a web order on mk-led.hr, the customer is asked for the following information: name, surname, address, postal code, city, email address and contact number. Without the specified data, it is not possible to complete the web order. The specified data is stored for the purpose of fulfilling the contract. The customer is given the option to cancel the web order if he does not want to provide the specified data.

During registration, which is optional for all actions on the site, the customer is asked for his name and email address. When registering, the customer accesses their database on the MK LED webshop, which has several benefits (viewing orders, shipping addresses, billing addresses, changing passwords, etc.)

When filling out the inquiry form on the site itself, the customer is asked for their name and email address so that the customer can receive an answer to their inquiry.

If the customer requests a product shipping service, the specified data will be used to process the shipping order for the customer and will be forwarded to the distribution service.

If the customer pays for products via the CorvusPay card payment system, the specified data will be automatically forwarded by the MK LED web system to CorvusPay, so that the purchase can be successfully completed.

Providing personal data is the decision of the user who may or may not use the benefits of our company. If the user decides not to provide the data required for a particular activity, it will not be possible to carry out the activity.

The data provided by the user during registration is stored on the webshop server.

You can deactivate your registration at any time by sending an inquiry to info@mk-led.hr. In this case, the data will be stored in the webshop system as long as there is a need to fulfill a legitimate purpose, and at least for the duration of the contract between the user and EUROKONT d.o.o..

We recommend that our users combine uppercase, lowercase and numbers when creating a password for their user account so that the password itself is more sophisticated and harder to crack. As a company, we hereby inform our customers that we do not store or process credit card data or any other data of this type on our website, but on the protected CorvusPay website, where everything is done via encryption and this data is not visible to us in its original form. As a user, you can choose to leave your data permanently on the payment pages, but this data is not on our servers or within our software. We advise you to read how these pages process and record this type of your data.

Processing of personal data through video surveillance:

• purpose: protection of persons and property
• legal basis: legitimate interest of EUROKONT d.o.o. as the controller of personal data
• recipients: we can deliver video recordings upon request to the competent authorities (police, court) if necessary to carry out procedures based on special regulations
• storage: we keep recordings obtained through the video surveillance system for a maximum of six months or longer if they are exempted as evidence in court, administrative, arbitration or other proceedings

Access and modification of data:

The user, at any time, has the ability to access their data stored on the website where they can review, modify and delete them.

The customer, i.e. The user can at any time obtain information about what data EUROKONT d.o.o. has stored by sending a request to the email address info@mk-led.hr.

We will be able to provide feedback on your request only if the request is sent from an active email that is recorded in our business software, with accurate information within the email (name and surname, phone number of the user requesting information) in order to protect you from the possibility of exposing your personal data to a third party.

The right to have your personal data forgotten:

The user has the right to request the deletion of personal data at any time. This can be done by sending a request to the email address info@mk-led.hr and the data will be deleted without delay unless there is a legal obligation to store the data, a legitimate interest and a basis for exercising your legal rights.

We will be able to provide feedback on your request only if the inquiry is sent from an active email that is recorded in our business software with accurate data within the email (first and last name, phone number of the user requesting the information) in order to protect you from the possibility of exposing your personal data to a third party.

Right to object:

If, despite all the measures taken to protect personal data, you believe that you have grounds for an objection, please contact the email address info@mk-led.hr. In addition to reporting to us, you can also submit a report to the Personal Data Protection Agency.

Cookies:

In order for the MK LED website to be functional and to provide the customer with the highest quality service, a small amount of data in the form of cookies must be stored on the user’s computer. A cookie is information stored on the user’s computer by the website page being visited. Cookies store settings for the website, such as preferred language or remember products that have been previously viewed. The next time you use the website, the browser sends back the cookie that belongs to that page. By selecting the “I accept” option, the user agrees to the use of cookies.

Statement on the protection and collection of personal data and their use:

MK LED is committed to protecting the personal data of customers, by collecting only the necessary, basic data about customers/users that are necessary to fulfill our obligations; informing customers about the use of the collected data, regularly giving customers the opportunity to choose how their data is used, including the option to decide whether or not they want their name to be removed from lists used for marketing campaigns. All user data is strictly kept and is only available to employees who need this data to perform their job. All MK LED employees and business partners are responsible for respecting the principles of privacy protection.
